The stockings have been hung!

It's been awhile since my last posting but projects just don't happen over night! One thing that is for sure when it comes to art you gotta start early hence making glass christmas windows in September. I made 2 similar but different versions of the same design. Since out of ruins is at many shows during the christmas season they can have a bit of festivity at both booths! Enjoy!

Back to Basics

My mom loved when I would make these towels for her and I never understood why she thought they were so great! Atlast I made some for myself and now I see the benefits, for one there is always a towel handy for constant hand washing while baking up a storm and no more towels falling on the floor! Not to mention they are cheap to make as you can make 2 from one towel and its a great way to use up scrap yarn. I save the buttons off old clothes or the spares you get from new purchases! So dont knock it until you try it!

Bridal Bling!

finally .... a relaxing sunday evening ... the pug is snoozing beside me after a bath!

I wanted to share one of those good internet finds, while surfing the net looking at various pictures of my wedding dress I stumbled upon a site that made earrings to match my exact dress. Without hestitation I purchased these earrings making a slight adjustment to the fastner. I wanted studs instead of a hook. The company was really easy to deal with and custom makes every piece. When I got it in the mail it was even more stunning then I could imagine. So on this sunday night recovering from being Shawville Faired out I am searching now for the perfect necklace! So without further a-do check out their stuff!

Beautiful Baby Blanket!

Sigh .... the long weekend is almost here! Shawville Fair is upon us once again!
and now for project highlights-end results!!!!!!!!!!!

After cruising http://www.bernat.com/ for some inspiration, I immediately signed up to be a member (its free!) to get access to many different patterns at all sorts of skill levels! I love how this blanket turned out as its so cheery and could be used for either gender. For now this blanket rest sealed up until my next friend or family member has a little one!

Stay tuned for my next posting (hopefully Monday) as I will be spending the weekend in the Pontiac.
One project this weekend is adding stamping and pearl embellishments to my wedding invites! A project for me and mom. Between that and supporting the fiance at the BMR booth its going to be a great weekend!!! Have fun kids and be safe!
